I have made dolls and I use real blush. The hard compact kind with a large makeup brush works wonderfully. It isnt completely permananent but how often do you plan on washing a seasonal wallhanging. The doll I made wasnt meant to be played with and so has not been washed and it still looks perfect. I also used some eye shadow to highlight the eyes and thats staying on well too. I think I have read that spraying hairspray on will set it better, but I didnt want that sticky stuff on the doll. I have wondered as well if the spray to waterproof fabric would set things like this. I think its called scotch guard. Im sure you will get some other ideas from the clever people here and I will be watching and reading for myself too.
Oh, and this is not an afterthought but did almost forget to say, LOVE THE BUNNY!!!!
Hugs, Anna
