Hello, Pennyswings and Welcome to Creative Quilting, I am Joyce and I am from Australia. I too have a Janome although not the same model as yours, the Walking Foot and free hand quilting foot, (Called darning foot here) are universal for most models of Janome. I purchased mine from my Janome Dealer.
Quilting in the ditch I just use the foot that came with my machine that has a clear plastic piece in the middle so you can see the seam. Works well,
I too usually hand quilt but it is slow and now I need to be quicker so as to get on with the next project.
I hope you read the forum and catch up on the Noodle Shuffle information, we only have Noodlers from the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand to date so one from a new country would be good. Again Welcome. Joyce
