I love how you sorted the colors and used them in an around the world fashion. It looks great. My animal noodle quilt is not close to finished yet, but it is all cut, some embroidery is done, some squares are sewn together. One of these days I will get back to it!

Joy, well done on using your animal noodles. Love picking out the different fabrics of the noodles. Now you need some quilting time to get them finished. It is looking good.

Hi Sheila
Your quilt is lovely...
Some how I don't think your sister will mind what color you made the quilt.... just receiving a wonderful quilt like this one is a gift of love and I am sure your sister loves you and will love the quilt too.
Are you hand quilting or machine quilting.

Here's the quilt top I'm making for my sister's 50th birthday, (which was the 26/2/2008). All I have to do now, is quilt it. Her room was lilac, then when I'd bought the fabric she told me she'd sold the house, and photo's of the new house all had blue bedrooms so I quickly added blue. Now she tells me she's repainting in neutral shades, so I guess it will go.

Thanks Joy, really enjoyed the pictures, wished I could touch. The quilts are so beautiful, every type, traditional blocks, scenery, applique, all of them, but sorry I still prefer hand quilting. I was at a smaller quilt show on Sat. too but of course forgot to take pictures (camera in bag).

Joy thanks for showing us your photos, I was really tired by the time we got to look at the quilts and did not see them all. I can appreciate the work that went into them all, but I still love the charity ones the best, they are my sort of quilts. Cheerful, and simple. Perhaps one day I will embark on something really hard but perhaps not. Love them all. Cheers Joyce

I have posted some pics from AQC in the gallery. There were over 150 all up, so I've tried to pick a few from each group. I will post more of the Best of the Shows quilts another time.Hope you can all access them, but there were too many to post in forum, as I can upload 5 at a time in the gallery. Here's one for a taster anyway
It was made with confetti scraps of fabric, vliesofixed then quilted. In the gallery check out the one made with 10,650 x1/2 hexagons, hand pieced and quilted!
