    Hi Suzy

I too have a Janome but mine is a 9000.... I love it but sorry to say I don't use the embroidery part of the machine..... Should do more of it..... you take lessons and then come see me.... BOL

Looking forward to seeing all the wonderful projects you will be doing.

Bad news - Good news

My janome 5700 sewing machine broke down on me 2 days ago. I was beside myself. Hubby and I took it in for repair today.

Man said it really would cost more than one should put into a 5 year old machine. Disbelieve....how can this be happening!

Long story made short, store was willing to give me a good trade in on a new Janome Memory Craft 9700. Hated to do it, but I can't live without a sewing machine.

Came home with the new one, and can't believe what it can do. Guess I'll be doing more embroidery! Glad lessons are included.

I'm a happy camper and my husband is an angel PS the new one has a 25 year warranty

Nice plan, but I am pretty certain I won't be joining you. Australia is a long walk from Canada, even if Helena came along for the stroll for company.

Pat, I took an addressed envelope down to Jean today, got the ornament and went to the post office for her so she wouldnt have to worry about it. So keep an eye out for it and let me know if you dont have it in a reasonable length of time. But surely it cant go astray again.

Pat I am going to drop some things in to Jean probably today so will give her your address as well. Just in case she cant find it. Actually I will take envelope too because she may have packed all those kinds of thing. There's not a lot left unpacked in her house now. She leaves here mid to end of next week I think.
