  Kathy, how lovely. What a wonderful keepsake for him.
  I have just printed 20 pictures, 10 are 8 x 10 and the others about 3x5 or 4x6 which I have to start making into a quilt tomorrow. It is an order for a girl who wants a memory quilt to give as a wedding present to her best friend. Half the pictures are of the bride and the rest of the groom, from baby to now. She is going to sign one of the invitations and we'll photograph it and make it into the label. I have the fabric and she wans just plain square blocks with 3 colours around, so will be simple to do, just have to figure dimensions out and then sew. Then quilt for end of August.
  Therefore I was glad to see yours, it is more interesting I think than mine will be, using different blocks, but she wants it this way and she is paying cash, so------ that's what I'll do.

  This photo isn't as good as the digital ones. I had a roll of 35mm put on line when I had it developed. The details don't show much. There are family photos and original art work in the center part. My brother who received this quilt likes animal tracking, so I stenciled tracks in the border.
  
  I made the Indian Hatchet blocks by sewing small squares to the corners of the big squares. I did another seam and then had half square triangles that went into Rob's quilt. A few leftover ones went into two blocks I donated to Ruth.

  I love this quilt, nice job. Someday I will get a lap, quilt or somwthing done. Making mixer cover, pot holders, fly fishing pole covers and repairing tents and sleepi g bags for son. Not quilt.

  Thank you girlies/ladies for all your compliments. I am pleased not to have let you all down, actually made a small quilt with the Floral Noodles.
  I used a Template - Easy Dresden--- Fans -- Wedges.
  With it you can make a plate 1 inch to 8 inch.
  Just give me a shout if you would like one.
  Cheflatte I am giveing you a challenge, Appligue is great fun, go for it.

  Jo, I have a baby quilt put away in my Hope Chest, BUT I think I probably jinxed myself making it. Was thinking of giving it away and making another when the time comes, but I had hand embroidered lots of squares on it, so hang onto it. I keep telling the children no hurry, so who am I to complain.

  Love your Baby Quilt Joyce, lovely bright colours.
  Think your idea to hand quilt around the Ponies, would be an added feature.
  You could make a Baby Quilt for your first Grandchild, hide it away, for the time being, of course you would need colours for boy or girl.

  Here is a photo of the latest quilt I have made. All on the machine. Not a hand stitch to be seen YET. I am not sure but I may hand quilt around the little carousel horses to make them pop out a bit more, and I have to sew on the label.
  Yea! for the walking foot and the Machine Applique it makes for a quick job, and as it is winter and the baby is now 1 month old, I had better deliver this one. Not one of my family's babies. I still live in hope.
