    Joyce,
I can see how that would work very well. My hubby made my table, and we put folding legs on it, so when we need to put a air bed in that room we can fold it up and move it out of the way. Then I just put the machine on the Little Gracie for the weekend or night whatever we need. Point being the table does not have the lip you are showing to add the false bottom. That is a good idea though and your hubby has a right to be proud of his idea.

Wow, You have been busy Suzy, Love the ornaments. Everyones work shown here looks amazing.
My little contribution to Christmas Projects - I have to make an ornament for a Christmas Buddy swap with my quilting group. So after finding an advertisement in one of Jean's magazines I made these - kind of like in the advertisement but different !! I sewed out the lace from a Sue Box lace design - combined 2 designs in the red/green one. I hope my buddy will like it. Marilyn
(And I am not sure which one to give - they are passed around so I dont know until then who will actually receive it. I guess the red/green one is more Christmassy but I really like the other one.)Post edited by: MarilynD, at: 2007/11/26 04:52

Love the smocked and crocheted balls, I have not enough patience for smocking, too slow for me. Its great to see we all do such different things. susanm love the wall hanging, I still have not quilted my Christmas wallhanging, did put the bling on though. I will quilt it fully one year, it is only 2 years old.

Re:My machine quilting extension table

  • Re:My machine quilting extension table - 2007-11-24 15:00:52-05
Its sort of hard to explain but I have an old pine table and hubby is going to put a piece of wood underneath it to hold my machine and then cut a hole the size of the machine and drop it into it. It should then give me a table size area to hold the quilt. You could find these tables at garage sales or second hand shops. Looking under the table you can see where a bottom can be put across the trim at the sides. I hope it works he is very proud of his idea?

Here is a couple of presents I have done to sell at the hospital where I volunteer. I have already had orders for a couple of them. I think they are a bit of fun.
The Willie's Mood Meter, can be Dad's as well, I have done a Dad's one and then got order for personalised. Could be made using applique. JoycePost edited by: JHPym, at: 2007/11/24 21:39
