Your quilt is very nice - I wouldn't be surprised if more quilts like your poped up after seeing yours.

Very beautiful Helena. I was actually looking t that pattern today, but had not thought of the noodles. You have used several of our noodles already, I am still looking at them, either waiting for time or inspiration, not sure which, but I think I am shorter on time.
Thanks for showing us. I hope you are wrong though about having lots of time to quilt during this long cold spring. It has been cold and miserable for way too long now. Need some sunshine and heat. Can almost see over the snowbank at the driveway.

Is that not the prairie points border turned in instead of out?

Helena, the quilt looks so beautiful. As Suzy said, the blocks floating on the lovely shade of blue background gives such a fantastic effect. Good on you using your noodles in such a special way.

Hi Helena,
Love your memory quilt. Your blocks look so pretty floating on the background. Your back ground border are a lovely shade of blue!
Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see it quilted.

Whats a semolina border? Makes me think of milky pudding with Jam.

This is the top of my Friendship Floral Garden quilt, made from the August Floral Noodles. I've made it in memory of my parents who have both left this sad land.
I've just sandwiched it and will be hand quilting it over the following cold, cold days of spring.

Deb sorry I dont have patterns it is just my own idea and we had to make it for the one group I belong to and they just give us sizes and theme's to use. Also had to learn to make the semolina border that was actually the whole idea with the winter wallhanging
