I am not sure how it will effect in the long term if you get it off quickly. I am a scrapbooker so I also am careful with fabric. When we talk about our photos we are always discussing the acid content in paper and ink. I know that I personally have seen some string quilts from the fifties that had newspaper on them. On the lighter colors you could see the words coming thru on the top and even after she took the paper off in the late 80's it was still there and would not wash out. I am always thinking about what my hands look like after reading the paper when I think of newspaper. Glad you don't mind my jumping in. I love this forum and all the people I have met here. I feel like I have dozens of new friends and when I talk about ya'll I say my friend.... Have a blessed day!!
