Hi girls - didn't think one little piece of paper could generate so many post of interest..... I would like to thank all of you for your concern and interest.
My intent is only to use the paper to sew all the pieces to gether to give the block stability till the top is sewen together and then the paper would be removed...... I guess I never thought about the acid in the ink.... have used news paper before and have had no trouble... but the paper was removed within a couple of weeks. I will be going to my local news paper office to get news paper print paper which is new and has no ink on it. Thanks again....
