  My part of making a quilt I dont like to do is the binding. I hate the whole thing, from trying to estimate how much to make, making the darn thing, sewing it on and especially I hate hand sewing it to the other side. Hate, hate hate, all of it. I even hate deciding what fabric to use for the binding. I have seen in one of my books that you can fold in the front and back and sew the edge and not bind a quilt at all and I am going to try that on some of the Christmas quilts Im making this year. If it works and looks good I may never make a binding again. hehehe, I wish!!!
  
  The most favorite, exciting part for me is planning the quilt and shopping for just the right fabric. I guess by some of the answers here Im not alone it this.
