Pat, Im not sure what instructions Kathy gave you but I have been using one way of joining the ends of my binding for awhile now and it is pretty easy. If you like I will scan the page from my book and post it.
I would happily trade machine quilting for binding. Now all you have to do is talk hubby into moving to Merritt and we are all set!!!
