    I'm with Kathy, sandwiching the quilt is the hardest and most boring part. I do not baste, just pin, because I use a Qsnap floor frame which i think holds it firm without basting, and I start in the middle and work out. but just the whole layering thing I find hard work. Once it is done and in the frame, then I thread a dozen needles, then look at for at least a day to let it talk of which way to quilt it for sure.
    I also hate trimming half square triangles, or any blocks, becuae they should just be perfect by magic and not need trimming. But I learned they must be trimmed or squared up or the whole quilt will be a waste of time cause it will be ugly.
