Question?????

  I have a question for all you bright people out there.
  I have read all I can about machine quilting and am doing OK, I think BUT now I have read you should use Hand quilting cotton as it is stronger, and somewhere else I read you could use just ordinary sewing cotton. Now what should I use??? Confushion reigns. Let me know what you use, Please. Cheers Joyce
