  I started thie in a class but as usual needed it to be much bigger then they were making so had lots to do at home. Thouroughly enjoyed it. We stacked 6 layers of fabric pinned with butterfly pins and cut out our shapes. The layers had to be exactly on top of eachother for this to work. yes and each pile had to be sewn together. no mixing up . If i hadn't been making it for my grandson I too would have used flowers. If anyone wants the instructions I will email to you. very clear and easy to follow. just so long as you go one step at a time. One lady made hers from a large hydreanga ( ok so i can't spell) very impressive. it was very hard to pick her original fabric. More of these are on my to do list HA HA Chheers Ruth.
