I have not seen my granddaughters since July of 2006. They are 7 and almost 11. I will make as much time as I can for them when they are back in the states. They will be a two day drive from here so it will be closer than Germany but still not close. Ray my son in law won the Bronze Star while in Iraq the last time and after what happened the last two weeks over there he will most likely win another one. It is so sad that he has to see so much violence as a field medic you just get the worst of it and you have to put your life on the line every day to save others.
Ria, I don't mean to take away from your wonderful quilt and I am so glad you shared it with us. I wonder if the flower has a specific symbolism?
