  Im sorry I missed seeing some of the last comments here. Its funny that we go to such lenghts to use up scraps and then go out and buy more fabric for sashing and edging and ooooops the bin is full again!!
  I am making the blocks to donate to a group project. There are a few others working on the same type block. Maybe they will post pictures of theirs for us to see too.
  I have never done this type of quilting by machine or in block size. I have always done it full size on an old sheet. Thats the way my mom taught me. For this I used newsprint paper which is easy to find in my daycare stash. ( once I realized it of course!!!)
  If my thumb ever stops being a nuisance I will get back at it and make another batch.
