  Kathy I would like to come back again on this one, I have just printed pic of your quilt.
  I know we all see things differently, but on my print out, the top and bottom bright corners detract from the overall theme, throws it out of kilter. I have used crayon to darken them. Maybe you could try and cover them with the same colour as 5 down, try more red, that to me would balance it, yes I think looking again the red. To my eye it then frames your landscape.
  Will that make it too uniform to you.

  Keep trying, you will get it to look right when YOU look at it.
