  I noticed Threads and Marilyn were talking about paper piecing and I wanted to add a note to what they were saying only they got off the computer like 11 hours ago so I decided to add it here.
  I have used news print but not news paper since the ink is so acidic and stains so badly. I have also used what we used to call typing paper or onion skin paper. It is very thin and when you use the smaller stitches it tears off so easy. You can use it in the printer also so you don't have to draw your pattern. Hope you don't mind my sticking my nose in, but I have been researching foundation piecing and doing some for the class I am teaching. Have a great experience, it is a fun process.
