Hi Marilyn, on Pam Bono's site she sells what is called an angler. I find that it is a very helpful tool when you do quick piecing with a rotary cutter, because there are a lot of very small pieces. It helps you when you have from 5 to 150 sets to do on a large quilt to be very accurate, very steady and very quick as well as getting all of your angles right the first time.
The thing is you can buy the angler it is not expensive, but if money is tight, you can also make it by using an acetate (a transparent) and drawing the lines with a fine black marker just as they show it on their video. Then you align the middle line with your needle and use a tape to make it stick there.
That tool works only when you start sewing little pieces together at the beginning. As soon as the quilt grows, you will find that it is very bothersome and you have to take it out.
Good night
Edith
